The main aim of the Christine and Göran Schildt Foundation is to strengthen cultural contacts between the Mediterranean region, particularly Greece, and Finland.
The Foundation organised the exhibition “Athos – Monastery Life on the Holy Mountain” which was on display at the Villa Schildt Museum in Tammisaari in the summer of 2005 and at the Tennis Palace Art Museum from August 2006 to January 2007.
The Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation’s donation sum was EUR 20,000.
